LO5: KTA 1: Prepare and Create Images for Show in End of Year Showcase
LO4: KTA 2: All Images Edited & Evidence of Change With Justifications for Technique Applied
NEW INDUSTRY
I deliberately used editing tools such as the vibrancy tool to make my 'new industry' images appear new and clean. I did this to emphasis my concept.
THE SHOWROOM CINEMA
I have increased the gamma correction of the photograph to make the Showroom building look brighter and cleaner. I have also cropped the image to make it more symmetrical, thus it becomes more aesthetically pleasing.
VINTAGE NECKLACES

I have adjusted the exposure (+0.4), offset (-0.02) and gamma correction (1) of this image to make the necklaces appear more vibrant and contrasting.
SWEETS STALL

I have increased the contrast of this image to create a greater appearance of depth between the sweets.
VINTAGE CLOTHES
I have increased the vibrancy of this image by 100 to make the clothes look brighter. I did this to make the image more vibrant.
BOUTIQUE SIGN
HENDO'S
I increased the vibrancy of the image so that the bricks and the famous Hendo's sign look more orange and bright. I also cropped the image to make it more symmetrical in order to make the cyclist the central focal point.
KELHAM ISLAND MUSEUM
I have increased the vibrancy of this image to make to metal appear more colourful and contrasting.
WILLIAMS FASTENERS
I decreased the vibrancy of the tarpaulin on the roof behind the web to make it look less garish and distracting from the focal point.
OLD INDUSTRIAL BUILDING
I decreased the vibrancy of the image to make the building appear more dirty. I also cropped the image to make it more symmetrical.
STREET CORNER
I haven't actually edited this image because I can't think of any way to improve it. I didn't adjust the vibrancy because I think it looks dull and dirty enough.

BOUTIQUE SIGN
I haven't actually edited this image because I couldn't think of a way to improve it. I really like the reflection of the neon sign on the glass and the red brick of the wall.
OLD INDUSTRY
I have edited all of my 'old industry' photographs to look older by making them took dirtier and more worn. I have done this to emphasise my concept and the contrast between the two sets of images.

Adobe Bridge Tutorial
The Gold Challenge:
Select five pictures to represent 'Creative & Digital'.
Reflection on using Adobe Bridge
Today we used Adobe Bridge to complete our brief. The program allowed us to view our photographs and rate them with stars and labels. This helped us to determine our favourite, photographs with the best aesthetics and technical quality from the least appropriate ones. I found the program really aided the process of eliminating and selecting photographs because made it easier and quicker.
